"We are deeply grateful for the outpouring from neighbors, friends and the people of Tucson. We are all family now," the Guthrie family stated to NBC affiliate KVOA in a special report that aired Saturday. Beyond expressing thanks, the family issued a renewed plea to residents: do not forget Nancy Guthrie's case. They urged community members to actively assist in the ongoing search, stressing that crucial details might reside within their personal records or memories.

The family specifically appealed to the community to review any camera footage and search their memories for anything that might assist in the search for Nancy Guthrie. They highlighted "key timelines" of January 31, February 1, and January 11. Any footage, journal notes, text messages, observations, and conversations from these periods, the family emphasized, could offer vital evidence or clues.

"It’s possible a member of this community has information that they do not even realize is significant," the family communicated, underscoring the potential impact of even seemingly insignificant details. "No detail is too small. It may be the key."

Savannah Guthrie reinforced this message on Instagram early Sunday morning, echoing the sentiment that someone in Southern Arizona might possess crucial information without realizing its importance. She also shared the family's profound distress, stating, "We want to celebrate her beautiful and courageous life, but we cannot do that until she is brought to a final place or rest."

Authorities reported Nancy Guthrie missing on February 1 from her home near Tucson. She was last seen the previous night, January 31, at approximately 9:45 p.m. Investigators have publicly expressed interest in the January 11 timeline, previously requesting security camera footage from neighbors for that morning. However, authorities have not yet disclosed the specific reason behind their focus on that particular date.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department has actively searched for a person of interest in the case, releasing photographs of a masked man captured on doorbell surveillance video. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed that investigators discovered some of Nancy Guthrie’s blood on her porch, leading them to believe she became the victim of a targeted crime.
